Caltta Assists Shandong Police: Wireless Communication Support Capability Reaches New Heights

Since the initial construction started in early 2008 and officially began operation in 2011, the Shandong Provincial Public Security TETRA Communication System has been running steadily for over ten years. Following the national "14th Five-Year Plan" blueprint, the Shandong Provincial Public Security Department actively responded to the guidance documents such as the "14th Five-Year Plan for National Public Security Equipment Construction" and the "14th Five-Year Plan for National Public Security Informatization Construction." It also strictly adhered to the Ministry of Public Security's construction standards and specifications for Police Digital Trunking (PDT) systems. In early 2023, it officially launched the construction of the Shandong Public Security PDT Communication System to achieve the strategic vision of "one network for the entire province" and even "one network for the entire country."

During this process, Caltta stood out with its outstanding strength, successfully winning the bid and undertaking the system construction of the 350 MHz PDT digital trunking for nine major cities, including Jinan, Yantai, Weifang, Weihai, Tai'an, Dongying, Rizhao, Zaozhuang, and Liaocheng. The project is vast, covering the deployment of fixed base stations, mobile base stations, tens of thousands of handheld terminals, vehicle-mounted stations, and base stations, building a robust communication network system.

In September 2023, Caltta smoothly completed the transition from the TETRA network to the PDT network for the nine cities, laying a solid communication foundation for the province's security work. During the recently concluded 2024 National Day holiday, Caltta, with its excellent product performance, superior stability, leading technical strength, and professional and efficient after-sales service team, helped the Shandong Public Security successfully guarantee various major security tasks during the National Day, demonstrating strong emergency response and support capabilities.

During the National Day holiday, criminal and public security police cases reported in the province decreased by 33.33% and 3.08% respectively on a month-on-month basis. A total of more than 367,000 police responses were logged, and over 101,000 people were assisted and served.

During the holiday, 39 large-scale events with 112 sessions were held safely and smoothly across the province.

Throughout the province, public security traffic police departments dispatched police forces 81,000 times, initiated 360 traffic police enforcement stations, and set up 1161 temporary duty and diversion stations. They dealt with 219,000 cases of major traffic violations, including drunk driving, overloading, speeding, and fatigue driving.

Now, the 350 MHz PDT system built by Caltta for the nine cities in Shandong Province has been operating stably for one year. Its professional technical support and service not only provide strong support for the various public security agencies in Shandong Province in major security, counter-terrorism, and collaborative operations but also significantly enhance the reliability of police wireless communications, earning extensive praise and high recognition from customers. These achievements mark a new development stage in Shandong's public security communication system, contributing indispensable strength to safeguarding social peace and promoting economic development.
